Report on Activity “Micro Teaching Skill Development Programme”

The Department of Education organized “Micro Teaching Skill Development Programme” for B.A. B.Ed and B.Sc. B.Ed. students of Semester VII between 8 September 2020 and 21 September 2020. The major objective of this programme was to modify the teaching behavior of student teachers by helping them to identify the strengths and weaknesses and also provide them constructive and prompt feedback.

The programme was conducted in small groups. Each student teacher delivered the micro lessons under the supervision of a mentor in peer group. The activity helped the students to gain confidence and increase their competency in the teaching skills.
