Objective: 

This course will enable the student to

  1. explain the nature of science and physics.
  2. appreciate the contribution of Indian and foreign scientists in the development of physics.
  3. develop the skill of planning teaching learning activities.
  4. develop competencies in
    1. selection and use of teaching methods, approaches and devices.
    2. selection, preparation and use of cost-effective teaching aids.
    3. inculcation of scientific attitude and science related values

CO 109: Constructing proper understanding of meaning, importance, nature, values of Physics teaching, contribution of major physicists and correlating it with other disciplines.

CO 110: Improve presentation in classroom teaching by using different skills.

CO 111: Incorporate appropriate teaching learning material for effective classroom interaction

CO 112: Select and use an appropriate teaching method for promoting effective teaching and learning.
