After completion of this course, the students will be able to -

  1. acquire the understanding of the various concepts, facts, terms and developments in the field of Science.
  2. apply the understanding in a teaching learning process in schools.
  3. develop teaching skills for conducting theory and practical lessons.
  4. use audio-visual aids and information technology for promoting effective teaching–learning.
  5. acquaint pupil-teachers with micro-teaching and methods of teaching.
  6. develop the skill of preparation of lesson plan and its presentation.

CO 121: Constructing proper understanding of meaning, importance, nature, values of General Science teaching, contribution of major scientists and correlating it with other disciplines.

CO 122: Improve presentation in classroom teaching by using different skills.

CO 123: Incorporate appropriate teaching learning material for effective classroom interaction

CO 124: Select and use an appropriate teaching method for promoting effective teaching and learning.

CO 125: Prepare students for organised and planned teaching.
