CONTENTS:

 

Methodology: The students will be involved in any four of the following activities to be conducted by them preferably in a rural area/urban slum or in their neighbourhood or local context.

Suggested Activities:

  • Shramdaan and beautification.
  • Micro-planning exercises for assessing the educational status of the community.
  • Study of enrolment, stagnation and dropout problems.
  • Organization of Literacy programmes in the community.
  • Character building programmes.
  • Conducting vocational training programmes for self-employment.
  • Remedial teaching work for poor and needy in the community.
  • Conducting Adult Education programmes.
  • Training of community in First Aid
