After completion of this course, the students will be able to-
- develop an understanding of the nature of disciplinary knowledge in the understanding of the impact of school subjects on disciplines
- develop interest, attitudes and knowledge about the content in respect of framing the syllabus
- developan understanding of disciplinary curriculum

- Impact of science subjects on disciplines:
- Teaching of science: Brain Storming, Laboratory, Demonstration, Project & Field visit, Constructive learning, Concept Mapping, Heuristic Learning & Problem Solving, Co-operative Learning, Group Discussion & Panel Discussion, Micro- Macro Teaching
- Teaching of Mathematics: Inductive- Deductive, Analytic, Synthetic, Heuristic, Project, Problem Solving, and Laboratory method; Techniques of teaching mathematics: Questioning, Brain-storming, Role Play, Simulation, Non- formal techniques of learning mathematics.
