Report on Activity “Micro Teaching Skill Development Programme”

 

The Department of Education organized a “Micro Teaching Skill Development Programme” for B.A.B.Ed and B.Sc. B.Ed. students of Semester V between 10 August 2018 and 25 August 2018. The objective of this programme was to enable the student teachers to view their own performance and provide opportunities to make self-criticism to develop suitable behavior for the classroom environment.

The 15 days programme was conducted in small groups. Each student teacher delivered the micro lessons in peer group for the accomplishment of specific skill. The activity helped the students to eliminate gross errors and sharpen their teaching skills.
